Double sided material

Hi There,

Just a quick question and probably not a very tricky one, but I just couldn’t find out how to create a double sided (2-coloured) Material. For instance, when a surface has no thickness to it.
Is the a way to?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hi,

I guess it should be possible with your second color as label and a raymask node with back or front face checked.

Hi Pierre,

Thank you for your reply.
I guess it isn’t as easy I I thought it would be…

YO HE INTENTADO HACERLO PERO LA UNICA MANERA DE LOGRARLO FUE PONIENDO UN MATERAL BASE Y EN LA SEGUNDA CARA UNA ETIQUETA DEMARCANDO LA CASILLA DE DOBLE CARA, ESPERO TE SIRVA EL CONSEJO

You mean like you would do it in V-Ray for example lamp shades? Think there is not really a simple way other than what Pierre mentions. What kind of material do you want to create?

One work around I would probably do in this situation, is have one side material color of your choice, then apply a label with the other color and apply it planar with close to no depth, so only 1 side of the mesh is colored by the label.

Thank you all.
I guess a label is the easiest way to achieve a double-sided material then.

Is that what you want to acheive?
Material A on surface, material B on label and raymask on label opacity with back or front unchecked.
